👤 Eligibility Criteria for Candidates:

The scheme targets young residents of Bihar who are looking to start their careers and gain hands-on experience.

Who Can Apply?

• Must be a permanent resident of Bihar

• Age between 18 to 28 years

• Must have completed at least one of the following:

  • 12th Class

  • ITI or Diploma

  • Government Skill Training or any certificate course of 6 months or more

  • Graduation or Post-Graduation (any discipline)

• Must NOT be employed or currently enrolled in:

  • Any apprenticeship

  • Any government-funded training program

  • Any student internship supported by State or Central Government

💰 Financial Assistance (Stipend & Allowances)

The stipend amount depends on the applicant’s educational qualification.

Additional Sustenance Allowance

These allowances help cover living expenses during internships away from home:

• Internship outside home district (within Bihar): ₹2,000/month for the first 3 months

• Internship outside Bihar: ₹5,000/month for the entire internship duration

⏳ Internship Duration:

• Minimum: 3 months
• Maximum: Up to 12 months, depending on the requirements of the industry/establishment and the candidate's interest.

Eligible Employers

Internships will be offered in:

• Registered MSMEs operating in Bihar

• State Government departments and PSUs

• Large industries (turnover ₹250 crore+) from any Indian state

Deployment Rule

• A company can hire interns up to 10% of its total workforce
